This weekend The Brewery Arts Complex held it’s Biannual Art Walk. CBNC HeadQuarters lies within the complex and they held an exhibition as well as a reception on Saturday. With Monotone and Antirawker on the tables and a bucketful of Simpler Times… let the festivities begin

The exhibition showcased Toronto’s own “We Kill You”, a jack of all trades in a world of masters of none. Painter, sculptor, graphic designer.. you name it, WKY killed it.Titled “A Cry for Help in a World Gone Mad”, the show included furniture, multi media painting and printing, as well as some AMAZING watercolor and ink pieces… 





The exhibit also showcased a collaboration between CBNC and WKY. For the past few weeks collaborative wheat pastes as well as hang tags have been popping up around the greater Los Angeles area that served as a glimpse of what was to come. 

They really went all out with this one, lemme tell ya. The shirt… (yes that’s a bear holding it) 
 
The collage also finds its way into a few of the pieces that we’re on display (and for sale… hint hint) including these multimedia paintings (below) and furniture including 2 chairs, a end table, and a larger coffee table (not pictured) 


This collaboration also marks the 16th toy that WKY has released and it’s apparent how well they do this.



Their rendition of CBNC’s Chubbs, each handmade piece comes with a skateboard and a detachable head that reveals the true nature of Chubbs… (in the land of We Kill You.)  The toys will be available online and until then please checkout more of We Kill You’s stuff over on their website.
